Year: 2019
Role: General Director

Open Monument is an unbuilt big-scale sculpture made with fungal mycelium bricks, under the principles of open-source technologies. This work pretended to question the idea of the artwork as something immutable and the idea of the artist as the only producer of the work of art, through a biodegradable structure in continuous change and dialogue with the natural processes, asking the viewer trough an iconic image in continuous resignification. Project developed joint to the architect David Benjamin and the artis Ivan Navarro to be presented in the Medial Arts Biennale of Santiago and the later cancelled COP25 in Santiago de Chile.
